They are extremely customer-focused and are seeking a new team member to join their growing team.


Our client is looking for a Customer Service / Dispatch Coordinator to join their friendly and supportive team located in Rydalmere.


Your duties:


Reporting to the friendly and supportive Operations Manager, predominantly your new role will be to ensure customer orders and repairs are processed in a timely and accurate manner.


Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Receive and load all customer sales orders and repairs into ERP (Pronto)
  • Provide Order Confirmation to customers indicating the estimated date of completion/shipping
  • Provide customers and suppliers with regular shipping updates e.g. delays, price changes, etc
  • Liasion with storemen and techs
  • Maintaining and updating the sales order tracking file until order completion
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings
  • Negotiation of freight rates and comparing freight options
  • Ensuring all shipping documents are completed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to suppliers and customers building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Other duties as required

About you


We are looking for a committed and passionate Customer Service / Despatch Coordinator who is able to work full-time, 5 days per week.

This role will suit a customer-focused and motivated individual with the following key skills:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a position of Customer Service
  • Experience with freight companies working with domestic and export shipments preferred
  • Business, Engineering or similar Certificate or Diploma preferred,
    but not essential:
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to negotiate skilfully and make good decisions
  • Customer focused
  • Well presented and spoken
  • High attention to detail
  • Efficient time management and organisation skills
