About the role


We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Food Services Assistants/Kitchen Hand to join our team on a casual and part-time basis.

You must be available for both AM and PM shifts.

The Huntly Suites form part of Calvary's landmark new development in Victoria, Calvary Kooyong Precinct, a revolutionary retirement living, health and residential care community.


Your main duties will include:


Prepare daily meals including beverages for residents that meet the special dietary requirements as instructed by the Chef Manager or Chef/Cook.

Ensure familiarity with menus and the needs and preferences of individual residents within the residence

Plate/deliver meals to residents, ensuring that the correct meal is received by each resident.

Complete cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning schedule, filling in appropriate sign off sheet.

About you

Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (Health Care Competencies)

Awareness of HACCP food safety and risk assessment plan

Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role in residential care, health care or hospitality sectors.

A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
