You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values. You will play a crucial role in resident's overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
- Mobility Support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
- Meal Assistance: Support residents with their dietary requirements ensuring they receive the food they need and assist them in the process of eating.
- Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
