Pegasus Leisure Group, a leading hospitality and entertainment company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Casual Commis Chef to join their team at Glasshouse in Caulfield.

As a Casual Commis Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards, working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to develop and implement seasonal menus, and maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items as per cooking guidelines and set standards
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to create and implement seasonal menus
  • Lead the kitchen team during service time, ensuring efficient and effective operations
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and quality control

Requirements:

  • Cert 3 or 4 commercial cookers or equivalent
  • Food Handlers Certificate
  • Proven experience in kitchen operations and functions, with the ability to cook a broad range of food items
