Position Summary

Community Clinician
CYMHS

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician to join the Latrobe Valley Mental Health team at Latrobe Regional Hospital on a Part Time Ongoing basis.
  • Reporting to the Manager
  • Child and Youth Mental Health
team, the successful applicant will play an important role in the delivery of Mental Health services to Child and Youth clients of the Latrobe Valley.

To be successful in this position you will need to have:

  • Appropriate post graduate qualification in Psychology and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Welldeveloped organisational skills,
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to mental health consumers, and
- the ability to work independently

  • Essential: Fully Vaccinated against COVID1

  • Essential: Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
  • Essential: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external services
  • Essential: Current Victorian Drivers licence
  • Desirable: Relevant clinical experience in Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) delivery
  • Desirable: Demonstrated experience in the delivery of evidence based and best practice family inclusive treatment to CYMHS clients
