A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the
Total Tools team as a
Retail Trainer, in Victoria.

This newly created position will suit a passionate people person, with experience in providing formal training and facilitation, with a background in tools and trade.

You will be a hands on, knowledgeable coach who is able to engage with their audience, with the ability to build strong and genuine relationships with our store teams, suppliers and stakeholders.


What will you be doing?

  • Face to face facilitation of our sales framework, product category training and other training materials as required
  • New store training facilitation and support, including customer service, sales, product and point of sale training
  • Instore coaching and development
  • Webinar facilitation
  • Assisting with content development (i.e., eLearning Storyboarding)
  • Maintaining our Learning Management System (LMS), including user maintenance, uploading, and maintaining resources etc.

Does this sound like you?

  • Proven retail and/or sales experience
  • Extensive tools and trade background
- you must be comfortable teaching tool knowledge and coaching our team members on sales techniques to gain customer confidence and return business

  • Proven ability in a retail training/coaching role
  • Experience facilitating facetoface training programs
  • Engaging presentation skills, with the ability to cater to a variety of audiences and learning styles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with technology computer literacy is a must, including intermediate MS Office Skills
