Purpose of Role:


The purpose of the role is to ensure robust governance over WMA's warranty process and also to ensure effective initial management of customer complaints raised in SAP as an F1 notification.


The role is key in supporting the front and back end of the customer complaint process and is also a key member of the central Quality Team and a member of the wider WMA Quality structure, as such will be expected to be an ambassador for Quality within the business to help support an improved quality culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First

  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
NCR Management

  • Perform the NCR Administrator role in SAP for all F1 Customer Complaint notifications.
  • Working with key business stakeholders to assign ownership of F1 NCRs appropriate resources in the business.
  • Seeking technical advice in understanding issues in order to action appropriately.
  • Participating in Quality Audits.
Warranty Management

  • Respond to SAP Quality module tasks generated from F1 notifications requesting Warranty as a result of a Customer Complaint.
  • Assess information provided in the F1 NCR and work with key stakeholders to determine if Warranty is valid.
  • Work with the Head of Quality and the Regional Finance Director to formally approve Warranty expenditure where required.
  • Monitor SAP for ZWC Warranty orders and report to the business when Warranty orders require close out or have been open for an extended period of time.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications and a minimum of 5 years' experience within manufacturing.
  • Excellent technical capability and sound organisational, people and time management skills.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Sound ability to use Analyse, report on and present data.
