A new role awaits The Market Intervention and Commissioning Branch is seeking passionate and motivated EL1 Assistant Directors to join their team.

Our thriving branch focuses on establishing and testing policy frameworks to support the development and transition of difficult markets.
We work in strong partnership with key stakeholders to support growth and build our market placement.
At times this may include responding to thin markets in remote and very remote areas.
The branch monitors the disability support market and intervenes when appropriate to ensure stability for our participants.

Where you can add value In this leadership role, you will have expert and influential communication skills to engage with a range of diverse stakeholders.

You will be able to lead a team in project activities, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and managing any risks associated with that project.

You will be able to monitor and evaluate the impact of disability support markets and identify areas of improvement to enable effective market development.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Working with relevant Agency stakeholders to design and embed operational models for commissioning NDIS supports for participants.

Applying appropriate quantitative and qualitative techniques to monitor the market using scheme and market data to build the evidence base for policy.

Ensuring project outcomes are measurable and align with the market development framework and where possible shared decision-making methodologies and the development of the community-controlled sector.

You will possess strong leadership skills, be able to influence and negotiate on behalf of the branch with multiple stakeholders.
