Overview:


The Coding Manager, South Australian Cancer Registry undertakes a range of support activities that contribute to the provision of quality outcomes associated with the South Australian Cancer Registry (SACR).


In particular this includes quality assurance in data ascertainment and data processing, coordination and management of Registry staff, regular liaison with data suppliers, identification of useful software upgrades, coordination with analysts and epidemiologists, liaison with internal and external customers, testing of software and procedural modifications.

The Coding Manager, South Australian Cancer Registry participates in the preparation of technical reports, liaison with officers assisting the hospital-based cancer registries, preparation of regular status reports, and recruitment of registry staff.
