THE ROLE

Be the face of Whyalla Recreation Centre as a Customer Care Officer and take on the important responsibility of being the face of our centre, ensuring all members and guests receive exceptional customer experience.

You will be the first and main point of contact for all facility members, and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide excellent customer service, utilising strong communication and troubleshooting skills to manage all customer enquiries, requests and complaints: in person, on the telephone, and via email.
  • Build a thorough understanding of the Centre, day-to-day operations, membership offerings, programs, bookings, special events, and emergency procedures.
  • Cash handling and ability to accurately process all point-of-sale transactions, consistently balancing cash outs
  • Membership sales and general enquiries

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • (HLTAID009) Provide CPR or equivalent Certificate
  • Certificate of completion for "Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care" Training
