Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role


The Solution Assessment Specialist supports field sellers in telling the business value customers can achieve by migrating and modernizing with Microsoft.

Engages field sellers and customers to understand their business needs, risks, and challenges.

Then, connects internal Microsoft teams and Migration Partners while leveraging Azure and Cloud Security assessments, 1st and (only when needed) 3rd party tooling, specialized migration partners, and associated programs & investments.

The outcome is a customized and highly visualized Solution Assessment Report that gives customers confidence in their cloud migration & modernization decisions.


Responsibilities:


We have an opportunity for an Individual contributor in our One Asia Solution Assessment Team who will help our team with his/her deep technical expertise in Data and AI space.

Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:

  • Working closely with Solution Assessment Regional Lead to understand regional programs and corporate initiatives that enable us to drive migration & modernize though sellers and migration Partners.
  • Ability to run AI and / or migration assessment / workshop.
  • Ability to convert assessments to actual Cloud migration.
  • Innovate in the AI space to help Microsoft's customer in utilizing the benefit of AI.
  • Generate revenue through assessment and migration programs.
  • Evangelize Solution Assessments across local account teams and segment leadership.
  • Working closely with GPS to source and nurture Azure and Cloud Security migration Partners
  • Land locally and champion scale Solution Assessment programs.


This role will mainly be focusing on the SMC segment and will suit a person who thrives in an agile, sometimes ambiguous and fast-pace environment with multiple stakeholders.


Qualifications:

What skills do you need to have?
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft.

  • 10+ years of Cloud solution sales or solution assessment consulting, or related experience.
  • 5+ years hands on data migration experience
  • Be able to confidently speak to customers and partners about cloud migration and AI
  • 5+ years' experience with crossgroup responsibilities (e.g., project manager for significant projects with crossgroup/crosscountry impact and membership).
  • Advance certifications in Azure, Data, AI, LLM and / or security.
  • Understanding of customer's cloud journey
  • English language proficiency.
  • Must have a growth mindset.
