As a Loss Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting site inspections, determining the cause and extent of damage, and providing a seamless end-to-end claims experience for our customers. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and that their claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for a calm and confident individual who is an expert communicator, empathetic, and a great listener. You will be responsible for communicating clearly and concisely with our customers and clients, and for providing high-quality reports that meet our clients' needs.
The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, be intrinsically driven to provide excellent customer service, and be resilient in the face of challenges. You will also have a strong problem-solving ability, be able to search for the root cause of issues, and find solutions throughout the claim journey.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site inspections and desktop assessments to determine the cause and extent of damage
- Communicate clearly and concisely with customers and clients to provide updates on claim progress
- Document all decisions made and reasons, including ownership details, reserve changes, and acceptance/rejection of claims
- Work closely with our team to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively
- Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster is highly desirable, but not required
- Loss Adjusting qualifications or professional qualifications applicable to the Loss Adjusting industry are preferred
- Trade qualifications would be advantageous
- Current and valid driver's license is required
