The well-established boutique firm has a new opportunity for a client manager, to manage a small team and a client portfolio of $700K.

This will be a mix of business advisory and compliance. The firm values work/ life balance, being employee and client-centric and can provide parking for those who require it.

This firm is centrally located, however an easier option to drive as they are a 30-minute walk from the train station.


Duties within this role:

  • You will be both handson and review the work of tax returns and financials for all entities, companies, partnerships, trusts and group structures.
  • You will allocate and review other staff within the firm
  • You will have experience in structuring, business advice, analysis, FBT, GST, small business, concessions and tax planning
  • You will work across the A & B grade clients of the firm
  • You will be allocated $700K in fees to manage
  • 50% of your work will be reviewing the work of your team, whilst the remaining you will be processing
  • Ensure that the team's work is being completed to a high level and on time
  • Assist the less experienced team members in completing their tasks
  • Mentoring 2 3 Accountants and reviewing work

Skills and personal attributes:

  • You will be highly technical and skilled in Tax and Accounting
  • Excellent with client interaction
  • A good mentor, willing to help the team with an opendoor policy
  • CA/ CPA qualified
  • 8 + years minimum of experience in an accounting firm, as a Business Services / Tax Accountant
