This specialist contractor have a unique position in the market with a secure order book of projects in QLD for the next 2 years.

They deliver end-to-end civil contracting services to support building & infrastructure works across urban and industrial landscapes and have an unrivaled expertise in all aspects of commercial and bulk excavation, demolition & complex earthworks.

They have identified the need for a Construction Manager to initially take over and deliver an existing project and then become an essentially part of the Senior Leadership Team and help grow the QLD business.

The role will involve leading a team of construction & engineering professionals to deliver a complex scope of works which includes; bulk excavation, demolition & complex earthworks.

The position will involve being responsible for the development and control of budgets, reporting of project progress, technical and delivery strategies, risk, project schedules, deliverable, commercial and procurement arrangements.

The role is a long term permanent so is suited to career driven individuals who prefer the full autonomy that comes with working in a subcontractor environment.

We are looking to speak with Construction professionals who posses the following experience:

  • Minimum 10 Years in the Construction Industry
  • Excavation and Remediation experience preferred
  • Must have worked for a subcontractor
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Clear confident communicator to deal with Tier 1 Builders
  • Union Engagement experience
  • Stability in their CV (not a job hopper)
