Civil Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Project Manager to join our team in Queensland. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, programming, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and manage labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor and control project expenditure, ensuring it remains within budget.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement project management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and company processes.
  • Provide regular project reports and updates to management.
  • Train and guide project staff on construction processes and specifications.
  • Contribute to the estimating process for bids and tenders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Building Code Technical Specifications.
  • Experience with project management software, such as MYOB Advanced Construction or Autodesk Construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
