YK Education was founded by an NSW Qualified High School teacher with the vision of putting students at the centre of their education by catering to their individual needs.

The YK Method combines private tutoring and small group sessions so that we can cater to every student's unique educational needs and struggles.

There are pros and cons to private and group tuition so we've developed a program where students can experience the best of both

The role:


This role will work closely with the founder, focusing on planning and executing marketing initiatives to establish a brand for both future clients(students/parents) and workers(tutors).

This is a long-term role and we expect the role to grow with the business.

  • The role is two days per week initially on Monday and Tuesday from 1030am7pm

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute short term and long term marketing strategy
  • Create content for social media
  • Update website with blogs (blog writing can be outsourced)
  • Organise online and offline events by collaborating with teaching staff to establish brand awareness

Additional adhoc tasks when required 3:30pm-7pm

  • Handle calendars
  • Coordinate tutors' absences and follow up for recordkeeping
  • Provide ad hoc support around the office as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in planning and executing a short term and long term marketing strategy

Remuneration
- $80,000 p.a. including superannuation (pro-rata at 2 days per week)

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Part-time hours: 18 per week

Salary:
$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Spread out in 120sqm office

We use a mix of online and offline teaching to encourage students and instructors to stay at home when they are sick
