To give high-level strategic guidance and leadership for new mobile capabilities for the over 10,500 QLiTE mobile fleet, responding to Commission of Inquiry (COI) and business optimization initiatives; Identify creative applications for new and emerging technologies in policing, while upholding community expectations regarding transparency, privacy, and ethics; and Enable new mobile ways of working and provide suitable resources.

Your Key Responsibilities:

The essential capability requirements for this role include:

  • Analyze, develop, design, and implement project plans for agreed projects.
  • Plan and oversee project activities following Queensland Police Service and Whole of Government best practices and standards.
  • Offer high-level strategic guidance and leadership in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of a project and related business strategies and organizational change.
  • Present regular project progress status and financial reports to Management and Clients and create, review, and deliver project reports, briefing notes, submissions, and other correspondence.
  • Lead high-level project activities and resources to ensure the successful implementation of project deliverables for the Mobile Capability Centre (MCC).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with business governance processes for organizational change, capacity, and configuration management.
  • Provide advice to project stakeholders to facilitate informed business decisions that enhance business processes and meet evolving business needs.
  • Represent the program or project team across various forums related to MCC projects.

  • Accreditation in relevant Project / Program Methodology.
  • Prior experience in large and complex ICT programs and projects.
