About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our organization as a Team Leader - Projects.

Duties include

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate project activities, allocate tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage project risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate critical matters when necessary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, requirements, and expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets, control project costs, and report on financial performance.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and inspire a team of project professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Assign responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Support team members in their professional development and provide training opportunities as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and proactively manage expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for stakeholder engagement and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures throughout project execution.
  • Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive process optimization and efficiency enhancements to enhance project outcomes.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Smartsheets, Power automate and Microsoft suite word/power point/excel + pivot tables
