Community First Development is seeking to appoint a Strategic Projects Coordinator to support organisational efficiency, growth and innovation.

Reporting to the Senior Strategic Projects Manager, this newly created position within the organisation's Impact and Strategy unit will undertake a diverse range of activities focused on strengthening and communicating the organisation's impact.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate strategic projects across the organisation, including research and evaluation activities.
  • Develop reports and other written content that effectively communicate Community First Development's impact with a variety of audiences.
  • Undertake activities that strengthen data quality and improve outcomes and reporting.
  • Engage effectively with and provide support to other business units.
  • Adhere to all workplace policies, including Workplace Health and Safety.
Core criteria

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written communication skills including experience with preparing reports, briefings, and other written content.
  • Strong analytical skills including attention to detail.
  • Emotional intelligence demonstrated by strong team and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain productive relationships.
  • Strong IT skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs and data systems.
  • Knowledge of community development principles and monitoring and evaluation concepts is desirable.
A formal qualification in social sciences, monitoring and evaluation, community development or similar is desirable.
