Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the Program Manager or Project Manager, Portfolio Delivery Office to improve organisational capability and delivery by coordinating allocated projects/initiatives/work packages, as agreed.
  • Ensure allocated projects follow the agreed project methodology and frameworks.
  • Assist with reporting through to the Program Management Office on the status of projects.
  • Assist with the maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, change variations, budgets and expenditures.
  • Organise the preparation, documentation of actions and minutes of key stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Undertake scheduled and adhoc project tasks as required
  • Assist with documenting project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Collaborate with, and support the broader Strategic Business Branch in the pursuit of excellence.
  • Ensure business need is articulated and mapped to technical solutions in consultation with technical teams.
  • Liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, technical teams and various contractors to coordinate project works and provide support in resolving ICT issues.
  • Update project status reports, both scheduled and ad hoc. Notify the Project Manager of any potential or realized risks & issues to business and facilitate resolution.
  • This position does not involve direct supervision of staff.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in assisting the Program Manager or Project Manager, Portfolio Delivery Office to improve organizational capability and delivery by coordinating allocated projects/initiatives/work packages.
  • Experience in assisting with the maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, change variations, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Knowledge in organizing the preparation, documentation of actions and minutes of key stakeholder meetings.
  • Experience in assisting with documenting project risks and issues and provide solutions.
  • Minimum of Baseline clearance or ability to obtain.
