About the role

This role reports to the Manager of Surgical Education and Training (SET). As the administrator of the Training Management Platform (TMP), your primary responsibility will be to act as the initial point of contact for TMP user support incidents, service requests, and IT inquiries from Trainees, Supervisors, Trainers, and RACS Staff.

The primary objectives of the role will be to support the Surgical Education and Training (SET) program through:

• Answer incoming calls, correspondence, enquiries based on Surgical Training, specifically TMP and forward other queries to the appropriate area

• Administer resolution of user issues, including escalation to Service Desk, to agreed priorities and response times

• Maintain TMP issue tracking database for major issues

• Contribute and develop standard resolutions for common user problems

• Assist with the collation and distribution of Trainee assessments

• Obtain in-training assessment reports and other assessment tasks for each Trainee in accordance with the SET regulations.

• Assist with the data entry and maintenance of all SET Supervisors and SET Trainees by liaising with Specialty Committees/Boards and working in collaboration with other RACS Teams for reporting purposes

• Onboard new users and data related to training administration across multiple Specialty boards

• Create and implement training-related data on Training Management Platform - e.g. Training Requirements, templates, forms etc

This role is of limited duration and is being offered on a max term basis for a 2 year period. The successful candidate will be working on Training Management Platform (TMP) and we are seeking a candidate that possesses specialized skills in Customer relationship management platforms especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.

This role is a full time position and can be based in any of our office locations in Australia.

Skills and experience


• Excellent administration skills

• Experience with databases and data maintenance

• High attention to detail and accuracy with data entry

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to successfully complete multiple tasks within required time frames

• Experience in independently setting priorities to achieve required outcomes

• Ability to manage and update web pages and web content

• Confidence in working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders

• Intermediate in MS Office Suite Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Ability to successfully work in a team environment
