Our client is a well-established, highly reputable Aged Care Provider which strives to deliver exceptional care and support to residents.


They currently have exciting opportunities available for motivated and experienced Care Workers to join their facility-based teams across multiple locations in the Illawarra region.


Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support or Aged Care.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 38 hours per week.
  • Minimum of 12 months industry related experience.
  • A demonstrated commitment to meeting the needs of the elderly.
  • Good communication. (Both written and verbal)
  • An understanding of Work Health and Safety issues.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Willingness to obtain and criminal history check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing and assisting residents with the activities of daily living, including the supervision of daily hygiene. (Eg
  • Assisting with showers or baths, toileting, oral care, shaving, dressing, assisting with meals and drinks etc)
  • Regular check in's and consulting with the Registered Nurse or Care Manager on duty regarding changes in planned care or status of residents.
  • Where required, assist in completing relevant residents' documentation.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of the status and wellbeing of residents.
