**What you'll be doing**

ISLHD recognises that its data is one of its most valuable assets. The need for high quality data is increasingly important, as clinicians and managers use this data to make critical decisions which impact the quality of care and for Activity Based Management (ABM) purposes.
The Data Integrity Officer (Non Admitted Patients) combines their clinical understanding with a technical ability to review evidence of the patient experience and data sets and proactively lead quality improvement and practice change.
The position will be responsible for the general data assurance of one or more specific data sets including managing the collection, cleansing and basic analysis of the data.

Working Remotely will be supported within a flexible work arrangement.

**This is a temporary full time leave relief position until 26 January 2024 with the possibility of extension.**

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed an up-to-date course of a COVID-19 vaccine (3 doses for Category A roles, 2 doses for Category B roles) which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Please provide proof of vaccination if available.

**Selection Criteria**
- Relevant Tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience with a proven ability in data collection and management within a health care environment or similarly complex organisation
- High level analytical, conceptual and problem solving ability with attention to detail, with demonstrated capacity to interpret information, assess data quality, system and process issues, report risks, and implement solutions to ensure data integrity across a large organisation
- Demonstrated ability to influence behaviour change, develop and deliver tailored education and undertake quality improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work within a technical team and also collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, particularly clinicians
- Demonstrated personal agility and ability to adapt to changing environments and workloads with pace and energy.
- Ability to use reporting tools and conduct basic data analyses and communicate information to relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to provide input, interpret, monitor, implement and evaluate policies and related information.
- Current NSW Driver’s license and a willingness to travel between ISLHD sites and services.
