Associate Quantity Surveyor

Location:

Work Schedule: 3/2 Days office/home

Salary:
$160k - $180K + Super

MCR are currently seeking an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor, open to Senior QS' looking to develop their careers.

This role takes on a spectrum of conventional quantity surveying duties, including but not limited to estimation, planning, cost management, expense monitoring, and meticulous financial reporting.

It demands a solid financial acumen, with emphasis on proactively optimising value for the clients.

The Data Centre market is on the rise and expanding at a commensurate rate. Our client is working on expanding in this direction and require able hands to achieve this growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with stakeholders
  • Driving business growth
  • Budgeting and cost assessment
  • Value engineering implementation
  • Contract analysis and negotiation
  • Cash flow management
  • Procurement oversight & Cost reporting
  • Variation assessment, Claims preparation & Settlements

Requirements:

  • Qualifications from recognized institutions in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Experience working within the Data Centre market will be greatly beneficial.
  • Previous experience working on high value projects $20million +
  • Fully working rights in Australia.
  • RICS / AIQS accreditation highly regarded.
  • Excellent communications and delivering excellence.
