Executive Level - Director, Cyber Security Branch (Multiple Positions)Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment to solve unique challenges? Executive Level 2 Director roles across cyber security governance and operations are available.
You will have the chance to work closely with security specialists to deliver a range of outcomes for the department, the Health Portfolio and the health and aged care sectors.
Position Duties:
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead a strategic and integrated approach to cyber-security with a focus on information management, capability development and risk-based decision making Deliver cyber security initiatives as a senior member of Information Technology Division, including providing input into ICT strategies and operations Engage and manage contractors, consultants and APS staff, to contribute to delivery of secure services and projects Provide support and assurance on contract management for cyber third-party suppliers Lead Education and Awareness initiatives that drive institutional change and uplift the security culture of the department Successful delivery of objectives in-line with the Security Strategy goals Contribute to delivering government strategies and engagement in the delivery of uplifted cyber services.
To be eligible for employment with the Department of Health and Aged Care, applicants must be an Australian citizen at the time an offer of employment is made.
An applicant's suitability for employment with Health and Aged Care will also be assessed through a variety of pre-employment check processes, such as: Satisfactory completion of a criminal history check, and where relevant, a Working with Children and Vulnerable People Check, Completion of a medical declaration and pre-employment medical (where required), Providing evidence of qualifications (where required), and Obtaining and maintaining a security clearance at the required level.
For this role applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance or hold a current security clearance at an appropriate level.
