The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and driven individual to step into a Team Leader role in the Pet Insurance Claims Team.

Reporting to the Operations Manager of Pet Insurance, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop, coach, and motivate a team to meet agreed objectives.
  • Lead the team to execute a high standard of service and process adherence
  • Monitor and support the management of a portfolio of claims, including
  • Workload prioritization and allocation
  • Claim review and authorisation
  • Technical product, process, and system compliance support
  • Performance and progress reporting
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and operational activities that continually improve Claims performance
  • Provide detailed input into ongoing process and system development
  • Provide input into staffing requirements and recruitment.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous Team Leader or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability in leading and motivating people.
  • Ability to influence, develop, and coach to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Sound judgment skills with the ability to evaluate and communicate information.
  • Ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems.
  • A core focus on customer outcomes and relations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop more efficient processes and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict when required.
