Early Start Australia is a national multidisciplinary allied health organisation committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services and supports to children and their families.


As a Team Leader, you will provide clinical leadership to empower a passionate team, supporting clinicians of all levels to drive a culture of excellence and facilitate best practice.

You will continue to support clients with a manageable clinical caseload, whilst providing leadership to the team using your skills and expertise to develop others.

Key Responsibilities:

As a clinical team leader your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Manage a discipline specific caseload
  • Provide leadership and clinical supervision and support the development of clinical skills and knowledge
  • Support the clinical team and oversee activity to achieve best practice, quality and compliance and KPI's
  • Development of clinic resources to ensure best practice standards and ongoing continuous quality improvement
  • Escalate and provide feedback to the Practice Principal and Regional Manager, at both a local and national level regarding the needs of the team

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology OR Occupational Therapy
  • 5 years minimum clinical experience
  • Experience as a Team Leader preferred but not essential
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
