About The Role:

Quest Personnel are seeking a reliable, experienced and well-presented Senior Duty Manager to work with one of the best-known premium level hospitality groups in the region. An outstanding opportunity to join a large and professional organisation where you will be the first point of contact for staff and will be responsible for daily maintenance of the roster and allocation of duties to ensure each shift runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will be managing activities in the operational areas, and take responsibility for training employees, assigning work, appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems across several areas including:

  • Food and beverage
  • Bar
  • Gaming
  • Front of House

Your sound leadership skills coupled with your professional presentation and excellent communication skills will see you as a highly valued member of the management team.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Previous pub/club experience along with sound knowledge and experience in Hospitality is essential
  • Dispute resolution techniques to resolve staff and customer complaints
  • Ability to think on your feet and effectively respond to and participate in high pressure situations.
  • Management experience including rostering, scheduling and performance management
  • NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate preferred
  • NSW Responsible Conduct of Gaming certificate preferred

This is a key role in our business and it's important that you are capable of working efficiently in a busy work environment. The rotating 24/7 roster includes both day and night shifts.

Successful candidates will be required to work across several venues, as per sight requirements.
