About the role

We are on the lookout for a skilled Finance System Analyst to join us. As a Finance System Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to optimize our financial systems, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives.

You will be in charge of supporting day-to-day administration, maintenance, and monitoring of the General Ledger system, assisting in the analysis and resolution of system issues to minimize user impact. You will also collaborate with Finance users and our IT provider proactively to enhance reporting automation capability and user experience.

This position involves a Hybrid working setup with standard office hours. However, occasional extended hours may be required during peak periods like the end of the financial year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address complex technical issues, implement system enhancements, and support business processes.
  • Aid in the maintenance and daily administration of the general ledger system and finance system processes.
  • Monitor the general ledger (GL), conduct relevant GL system testing, troubleshoot issues, and offer user support.
  • Participate in system upgrades and implementations.
  • Coordinate month-end cutoff and Manual Journal Coordination, assisting in monitoring late Manual journals, including month-end lessons learned.
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Relevant programming experience in VBA and/or SQL.
  • Experience working with financial systems, databases, and reporting tools, including PowerBi.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Values-driven mentality, dedicated to integrity, teamwork, and continuous enhancement.
Banking experience is advantageous but not mandatory for success in this role. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates with a background in Finance and IT, looking to leverage their programming and analytical skills to progress with us.
