About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Finance System Analyst to join us. In this role, you will be pivotal in optimizing our financial systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with our business goals.

You will be in charge of daily administration, maintenance, and monitoring of the General Ledger system. You'll help analyze and resolve system issues to minimize user impact, collaborate with Finance users and IT providers to improve reporting automation, and enhance user experience.

This position offers a Hybrid work setup, with standard office hours that may occasionally extend during busy periods like fiscal year-end.

Top Role Accountabilities:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to tackle technical challenges and improve system functionality for business processes.
  • Handle day-to-day administration of the general ledger system and finance processes.
  • Monitor the general ledger, conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and offer user support.
  • Participate in system upgrades and implementations.
  • Coordinate month-end cutoff and Manual Journal processes.

To excel in this role, you should have:
  • A degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience in VBA and/or SQL programming.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, databases, and reporting tools such as PowerBi.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A values-driven approach, focusing on integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Banking experience is beneficial but not essential. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a Finance and IT background who want to apply their programming and analytical expertise to advance with us.
