The Organisational Development (OD) team sits within HR and is a specialist function that works across the Group, at all levels, to build tomorrow's bank today and a brighter future for all.

The purpose of the HR Learning & Development team is to:

  • Implement an enterprise-wide learning and development strategy that optimises learning operating model, enhances our learner experience and supports our people to embrace new ways to learn and grow
  • Guide creative learning and development interventions, through effective analysis, sourcing, design, delivery, assessment and accreditation, to meet critical skilling needs
  • The role contributes to the delivery of the CommBank People Strategy and it's ambition that our people and the Community are skilled for the future

As a key member of the Learning & Development team, you will play an integral role in delivering on the strategic outcomes and ambitions in our People Strategy.

You will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Partnering with business leaders, HR Business Partners and other learning professionals dedicated to driving great career development experiences
  • Consult on business performance and people development needs, solution concept and evaluate outcomes
  • Advise business leaders on options to develop technical and behavioural skills within the flow of work
  • Partner with other learning professionals and vendors to develop face to face and digital learning tools including learning materials, eLearning, video, infographics, audio/podcasts, animation, communication materials and html content
  • Manage solution delivery from concept to implementation (endtoend) including design timeline, deliverables to plan and consultation with vendors or SMEs.
  • Maintain currency in relation to evolving learning content and practices to ensure learning resources are contemporary and fit for purpose

  • Demonstrated experience in a learning consultation or learning lead role with demonstrated impact
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, and learning assessment/evaluation methods
  • Experience influencing learning culture, mindset and practices
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence decision making processes
  • Ability to operate at pace and thrive in an environment of change and ambiguity
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies or familiarity with working in an agile environment
