Peoplebank are recruiting an
ICT Project Officer (
Project Co-ordinator / Project Support) to work on
an initial 6 month contact (extenions possible)
starting May 2023.



Based in Adelaide CBD, but some WFH flexibility, you will be working to support the Project Managers across three IT Projects (full project details can be discussed with interested applicants)

Indeed, as the Project Officer is responsible for supporting delivery of significant project activities and work packages.

The Project Officer may provide a range of specialist administrative support services, document production and reporting functions for the respective Project Boards.


Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Officer will be responsible for contributing to projects by:

  • Provide support/assistance with all program/project related administrative tasks
  • Organise and monitor appropriate correspondence registers and ensure that information for the Program is regularly provided or updated in a timely and efficient manner
  • Coordinate systems and processes to ensure that all required work is completed on time in compliance with internal and external requirements
  • Assist in developing and preparing reports, letters, briefing notes, submissions, agenda papers and day to day correspondence for and on behalf of relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to and maintain risk and issues registers for the Program team to support project delivery and management
  • Monitor and report on program/project schedules and activities to ensure accurate tracking and status reporting
  • Undertake the efficient recording, preparation and distribution of meeting papers and minutes for a range of Committees, Project Board, stakeholder groups and specific vendor meetings or negotiations
  • Coordinate and monitor the efficient followup of Board and Committee action items to ensure they are undertaken and completed in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Contribute to the development of plans and business cases for individual streams of work
  • Support compliance with reporting requirements to support program/project delivery.

Skills and Experience required

  • Proven experience in supporting the delivery of multiple projects, including processes and associated tasks
  • Proven experience in undertaking highlevel research, analysis, project coordination, consultation and negotiation
  • Proven experience in providing support to committees and project teams
  • Proven experience in consulting, negotiating and liaising with customers, stakeholders, and other Government departments and agencies
  • Possess excellent people management skills including the ability to manage different stakeholders.
