Responsibilities in this role include:

  • Designing, conducting, analysing, and interpreting highquality experiments, including but not limited to, in vivo drug efficacy studies in immune competent and immunocompromised models of neuroblastoma
  • Collating, organising and presenting experimental results
  • Assisting in the development, maintenance, and validation of new research models
  • Participation in the daytoday running of the laboratory
  • Maintaining laboratory records and inventories
  • Producing or contributing to high quality publications
  • Contributing to innovations and refinements to experimental approaches and assist in establishing new techniques

To succeed you will have

  • Tertiary qualifications in medical science, science or medicine
  • Previous experience working in an animal research laboratory (handling, monitoring and treatments)
  • Ability to design and conduct experiments independently and as a team member
  • High level technical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • A high degree of professionalism and respect for others
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Commitment to ethical conduct of experiments involving humans, animals, and GMOs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
