We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to provide overall coordination of onshore Darwin logistics functions to support Operations and, when required Project Hook Up and Commissioning.

This position is an onshore position and will be based in Darwin, Northern Territory .

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Direct day to day coordination of logistics functions with key logistics providers including Supply Base provider, Customs and Clearance brokers, Stevedores. Oversee and assure timely and quality execution of supply base day to day functions performed by Supply Base Contractor including their responsibilities to:Review of Purchase Order deliveries and confirm correct quantity and specifications, perform visual and measurement checks to ensure compliance.Receive, verify, and file all necessary documentations accompanying the goods received as per PO instructions.Assist in resolving and following up on any discrepancies, including documenting and clarifying with Vendors, Purchasers and Fleet Ops personnel.Ensure appropriate preservation for storage, handling, and packaging for onwards shipping.Oversee the organization of materials and stock in the warehouse.Perform and/or arrange others to periodic audits of physical inventory for the onshore warehouse in line with inventory management procedure.Planning and Coordination of deliveries to (Company supplied) supply, including ensuring correct preparation (packing, preserving, manifesting, rigging) and timely delivery to Darwin port.Prepare all necessary documentation to facilitate the accurate tracking, issuing out of goods to the vessel and accurate receipt of goods onboard the vessel.

Qualifications

Education within Supply Chain Management, or relevant industry experience
