Job Vacancy

We are currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join our team at Wilmar BioEthanol located in Melbourne - Yarraville; on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

With a background in a science discipline, the successful applicant will provide sufficient levels of detail to satisfy the QC aspect of the business and will administer and maintain the quality regulatory compliances, food certifications and customer support for product information.

Responsibility:

Ensure business certifications are maintained (Halal, Kosher, Organic) for all sites Maintain supplier certificates Coordinate and facilitate audits (internal, certification, customer, supplier) Coordinate follow-up and reporting on corrective action activities Responsible for quality assurance requirements (e.g. Questionnaires, Statements, Product Information, Quality Agreements etc.) Maintain the Change Management Programme register for Yarraville Bioethanol Work safely, and report hazards as per Wilmar's policies and procedures Assist in the laboratory if required Assist the Quality Supervisor as required

The Successful Applicant

Of course you must be qualified years' experience in Quality Assurance or Laboratory experience is required Walk the talk - Understanding of the principles of Halal, Kosher and Organic certification processes Get the job done - Demonstrated ability to create, review and issue the Safety Data Sheets Stand out from the crowd - Relevant system / process related qualification highly regarded but not critical
