We are currently seeking a Permanent Full time superstar to the join their team in the role of
_Inventory Controller_ **.

This role will be based 100% onsite at their Yarraville location.

Position Objective:

  • Support activities of the distribution centre and team members market offer & position 'service' as a differentiator to our customers both internally & externally
  • Ensure processes and procedures meet the national inventory policy at the distribution centre. Help foster a safe, efficient, professional and effective working environment
  • Promote 'service excellence' through open, timely communication & effective use of available technologies
  • Support continual improvement through development of team members and cost optimisation for both our business and our customers

Experiences / Skills

  • Track record of success managing and implementing agreed change processes
  • Strong understanding of business disciplines
  • Demonstrated success in coaching teams for compliance to procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others
  • Experience with planning systems including MRP and warehouse management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing professional working relationships across multiple functional areas to ensure customer satisfaction & loyalty
  • Demonstrated ability in solving problems by using root cause analysis

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of warehouse and distribution systems & processes
  • Knowledge of how to implement and manage change
  • Understanding of Company internal systems and processes (e.g.
    _SAP_
    , _sharepoint_
    , etc.)
  • Learning and understanding of brand positioning & service offer
  • Compliance with Inventory standards, policies and procedures
  • Understanding of the competitive environment in which the BU operates
  • Ability to develop meaningful operational measures and reports in which the BU operates
