W Sydney, opening in Darling Harbour in October 2023, is now casting for Moonlight Duty Managers to lead our hotel operations and guest services team.

Reporting to the Welcome Manager this integral role provides a high level of service to guests experience and presents an amazing opportunity to play a key role in the pre-opening efforts of the world's largest W Hotel, with 585 rooms, suites and studios.

Overall, the Moonlight Duty Manager should be able to balance the needs of their team, their guests, and the business itself, while maintaining a focus on excellence and continuous improvement.

This requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a deep local understanding of the guest journey.

JOB SUMMARY
Based at the Welcome Desk but responsible for managing and supervising all operational areas of the Hotel.

Drives W's Whatever Whenever culture, Bonvoy loyalty program, VIP guests, groups in house, training and development of talent and supports operations at the Welcome Desk.

Experience with Opera PMS is desirable.

As an integral part of the Rooms management team, directs and works with all areas of the Hotel's Talent and department heads.

Strives to continually improve guest and talent satisfaction and maximize the guest satisfaction of the department. A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and full New South Wales Drivers License is required. A First Aid Certificate is desirable.
