About the role


You will provide a combination of Service Desk and Desktop Support, with a focus on level 2 tasks, which tend to be more complex and will require consultation with various stakeholder across the organisation.

Primary support will be provided over the phone; however, you will also be required to provide onsite support as required.

At VMCH, the ITSS team has a strong commitment to improving service delivery.

You will contribute to this goal by Identifying service improvements, managing problem tickets, and assisting with reporting through automation, competence building and knowledge sharing.

About you


You understand the need for urgency in the resolution of ICT problems/issues and have the enthusiasm and desire to provide top level support in a helpful and respectful way.


Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will come in handy as you explain operational procedures, provide information, and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.


You're definitely a team player, but also have the ability to work autonomously and use your initiative to make independent decisions to resolve technical problems.


Last, but not least, you have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.


To be successful you'll need the following:
Experience with Microsoft's Cloud offerings, M365, Azure and InTune as well as proficiency in all Windows operating systems.
Proficiency with PowerShell and Group Policy plus experience managing Active Directory, Exchange and Exchange Online.
Strong networking skills to troubleshoot WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi issues and experience managing networked printers.
