About the Role
As the Strategic Category Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of products in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Head of Retail Sales, this role involves developing strategic category management initiatives to meet consumer, shopper, and customer needs.
You will provide thought leadership and category expertise, enhancing the in-store presence of products and achieving category growth objectives.Role Responsibilities
- Develop Clear Category Vision: Create a comprehensive category vision based on a deep understanding of shopper, customer, and business needs.
- Translate Vision into Activation: Convert category vision and growth drivers into insightled solutions, influencing customer range review decisions and shopper behaviour at the point of sale.

Store Visibility:
Set objectives for category reviews by customer to enhance in-store visibility, including shelf and display quality and quantity.
- Research Management: Recommend partners and processes for managing endtoend complex research projects, including brand understanding, positioning, advertising, communications, sensory research, concept testing, and simulated test markets.
- Challenge and Improve: Challenge internal research briefs and provide alternative solutions to enhance the effectiveness of category strategies.
