One of our clients are currently looking for an experienced Waste Services Officer to join their team. The commencement will be as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Weighbridge Operations.
  • Landfill Administration.
  • Customer Service.
  • Corporate Compliance.
Essential

  • High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Sound experience in project management/support with demonstrated time.
  • Management skills.
  • Sounds computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound public relations skills.
  • Sound interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of cash handling and balancing procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of banking and security procedures.
  • Sound knowledge of credit facility processes.
  • Sound understanding of waste acceptance criteria.
  • Knowledge of WA Waste Classifications, Waste Regulations and State Waste Strategies.

Experience:

  • Strong experience in weighbridge software.
  • Sound computer literacy with a good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience in a customer focused environment and business development.
  • Considerable experience in cash handling and banking.
  • Considerable data input experience.

Qualifications, Certifications and Licences:

Essential:

  • Completion of Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).
  • Current 'C' class driver's licence.

Desirable:

  • Tertiary Qualification in business management or similar or in waste management.
  • Certificate III in Waste Management or related science field.
  • Certificate III in Business Administration.
