About the role

Responsibilities include

  • Promote, coordinate, and deliver the CaLD Emerging Leaders Training
  • Implement and support the Stages of Intercultural Faith Communities framework for mission engagement
  • Coordinate training and support for frontline mission expressions in intercultural mission engagement opportunities
  • Engage in broader national initiatives of the Intercultural and Disability Inclusion Team
  • Collaborate with peers across the Mission Support Department to promote Intercultural Mission Development opportunities across The Salvation Army
This is a permanent full-time position, based in Blackburn, VIC. Some domestic travel is required. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.

You will have

  • Strong communication, leadership and have good interpersonal skills
  • Welldeveloped discipleship and leadership development skills
  • Experience in a faithbased ministry or crosscultural mission position
  • Experience working with people from CaLD backgrounds
  • Experience in community engagement or development
  • Tertiary qualification in Theology or Christian Ministry _(desirable)_
  • A Current Valid Driver's Licence
