About the role


The Digital Optimisation Manager will harness their strategic, creative, marketing, analytic and relational skills to create unparalleled customer experiences in collaboration with major brand partners.

What you need to know

The person in this position will:

  • Manage a marketing optimisation program that delivers the ideal, personalised travel insurance offer to each customer on the purchase paths of important business partners.
  • Drive the data scientists, user experience designers, content managers, graphic designers and project managers within AIG Travel's global Rapid Learning Lab team to deliver the right trip insurance offer at the right place at the right time.
  • Use creative design, copywriting and digital marketing expertise to ideate content based on an insightdriven understanding of customers and audience segments.
  • Confidently communicate complex concepts with clarity from junior to executive levels, both internally and externally. This includes translating complex data science insights for a nontechnical audience.
  • Develop digital marketing optimisation strategy by fusing strong understanding of the Australian market with insights gained by performing business analysis on customer data.
  • Engineer and implement robust processes, protocols, and capacity for rapid creative content generation, quality assurance and flawless execution of optimisation programs.
  • Ensure all optimisation activities comply with AIG and business partner legal, compliance, brand and accessibility requirements.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with optimisation testandlearn principles, experimental design, multivariate and A/B optimisation testing.
  • Strong background in content creation, copywriting and graphic design. Photoshop skills a plus. Confident in briefing graphic and UX designers and providing art direction.
  • High comfort with communicating with technical coworkers including IT development and data science.
  • Proven project management experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong eye for detail.
  • Experience in web production/product management, with good understanding of UI, UX and accessibility principles and demonstrable background in projects using HTML and CSS.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • Knowledge of content management and testing tools an advantage.
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills both verbal and written; advanced user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Must be selfmanaged and customercentric, able to operate within a fastpaced and strict regulatory environment.
  • High degree of integrity, reinforcing our culture of risk management and protecting the customer.
