A bit about your role


The Partner Capability Manger will establish a new assessment framework to critically assess our supplier capability today and what we need into the future to evolve our On Demand deployments with the greatest flexibility to meet our customer needs.

This framework will include a broad assessment across partner HS&E, Culture, Process Engineering, Systems/Tools, Scheduling, Procurement and Resource Management, probing their e2e operations.

This role will work in lockstep with the Implementation lead who will be working in collaboration with our partners on findings to improve customer outcomes.


The key functions of this role include:

  • Develop Partner Capability Assessment Framework in line with business expectations and forecasts ensuring our partners of the future have the appropriate capability and are resourcing as required to meet nbn's business demands for all programs.
  • Create an ongoing Improvement Program of Work to implement necessary changes across our partner networks.
  • Process engineering working closely and embedding with Delivery Partners to ensure processes both internally and externally are optimised to facilitate the best possible outcome and efficiency in delivery for both nbn and our partners. eg. Implementation of system APIs.
A bit about you

As the Partner Capability Manager, you will be responsible for the development of capability assessment framework.

Working across both internal stakeholders and our partners in creation of a framework methodology which effectively captures our needs and can be measured for effectiveness as we implement specific improvements.

You will also work towards the implementation of the framework across all On Demand partners.


You will have experience in identifying opportunities for efficiency gain and removal of waste and the Alignment of processes with Delivery Partners to ensure consistency of approach and most optimal methodologies used to achieve program outcomes.

You will Facilitate the quarterly assessment review outcomes with pillar SMEs and upstream stakeholders (HSE, IT, Program Governance), providing insights to gaps and opportunities to improve our partner operations.
