Chubb Fire & Security, an industry leader and part of the API Fire and Security group of companies, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our Salisbury team.

This exciting position is for a result driven individual to provide strong operational support to our technicians, and excellent customer service to our clients.


General Responsibilities

To work with the Service Delivery Supervisor and team to ensure that Queensland's service calls are correctly logged and allocated and that all work is completed with a specific focus on invoicing and purchase orders.

Ideally, you will have problem solving skills with attention to detail, a can-do attitude, be proactive and reliable, work well in a team or on your own with a strong work ethic.


Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Updating and uploading data to client portals
  • Raising Client work order requests
  • Raising purchase orders, obtaining PO approval and sending to suppliers in a timely manner
  • Preparing and checking Supplier invoices against purchase orders, obtaining approvals and receipting goods for payment processing
  • Reviewing the Sales Orders on Hold to ensure that all the information is accurate prior to releasing
  • Preparing Yearly Condition Reports for contract clients

To be considered for this position you must have:

  • Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum 3 years Administration experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of an ERP system
  • Intermediate / Advanced level of Microsoft Office suite
  • Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience in the Fire Industry (preferred but not essential)
