me&u is looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about nurturing and growing small and independent businesses.

You will play a pivotal role in establishing strategies to communicate with these partners as well as deliver value to them on behalf of the me&u business.


This role is responsible for retaining me&u customers and looking for opportunities to grow me&u's share of orders within client's venues.

This position will suit someone who is proactive, creative, strategic and adaptable. You must enjoy solving problems, looking for growth opportunities and working in a fast paced environment.

Relationship building skills are critical for this role so you must be confident to pick up the phone and connect with your account base, as well as possess strong written communication skills.


About the Role:

  • Build, implement and drive strategies to grow your portfolio of existing accounts. The growth rate will be defined by the management team based on the budget & seasonality in any given quarter.
  • Ensure that all your accounts are consistently engaged with me&u by demonstrating the value created by our product. Identify opportunities to upsell/cross sell to venues to drive growth.
  • Manage a large portfolio of small and medium business (SMB) accounts, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring any account issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Build and nurture relationships which will help me&u gain a deep understanding of our client's needs, what they expect from me&u and serve as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts including contract renewals.
  • Liaise with crossfunctional internal teams (including onboarding, Support, Product, Marketing and Operations) and work directly with internal stakeholders to ensure overall account health is maintained.
  • Provide the best customer service in the industry: Ensure you deliver a personalised, competent, convenient, and proactive customer service for your partner venues by working closely with the support team to resolve client requests or issue escalations as needed.
Those client requests include but are not limited to:
Finance & reconciliation, POS integration, menu changes, customer complaints, 3rd party integrations.

  • Ensure that all reporting (such as venue information and AM venue health check) and other documentation is up to date and entered in a timely fashion, ensuring that Salesforce is the source of truth at me&u. Work cross functionally to to update and improve customer training resources, including content and the way in which we deliver this content to venues.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in account management ideally from the hospitality, travel, or technology industries and/or at least 23 years experience working in a Hospitality management position where you have been responsible for bar/restaurant/venue operations.
  • Experience with MS Office (particularly PowerPoint and MS Excel), CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and reporting platforms (e.g. Tableau) ideal.
  • Experience delivering clientfocused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Experience in consulting and//or working in a startup will be highly regarded
