My client, operating in the Energy Industry, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join their Shared Services team for a long-term collaboration.

The team focuses on maintaining accurate and efficient Accounts Payable (AP)/Accounts Receivable (AR) accounting and reporting. Their responsibilities include managing day-to-day AP/AR operations, financial reporting, Purchase Order (PO) management, invoicing, reconciliations, and debt collection.

Role: Accounts Receivable Officer
Type: 12-month temporary position (possibility of permanency)
Work type: Hybrid
Salary/Pay: $35 - $40/hour + Super
Location: Sydney, CBD

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily AR inbox, including payment receipting
  • Oversee debtor list for successful debt collections
  • Resolve customer disputes or inquiries affecting payments
  • Handle invoicing activities
  • Provide support to team members as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Prior experience with NetSuite or other large ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Effective time management and task prioritization skills
