This role is based in Access, Equity & Inclusion, within the Division of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) which supports UNSW's diverse and inclusive community by working collaboratively with staff and students to drive targeted positive change across the university.


Why Your Role Matters:


The
Manager (Digital Engagement) is responsible for planning and producing marketing and communications to ensure the effective realisation of Access, Equity & Inclusion's strategic priorities, primarily the Gateway Admission Pathway and Program (GAPP).


You will lead the planning, development and delivery of strategic communications and reports, such as the annual impact statement and strategy updates, create and implement quality marketing and communications that promote Access, Equity and Inclusion programs, events and initiatives; and work collaboratively with relevant internal stakeholders across the University, including Future Student Recruitment to ensure the delivery of seamless and integrated communication campaigns, and Development to support aligned philanthropic opportunities.


Who You Are:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with and managing a diverse group of key internal and external stakeholders on large and or complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively negotiate with and manage deliverables from external contractors and work collaboratively across projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in distilling complex information into straight forward messages for communication to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly, show initiative and contribute ideas as part of a cohesive team.
  • A high level of technical expertise and evidenceinformed development of multimodal learning artefacts, tools and resources.
