We're really particular about who we work with, and have done the legwork to ensure this company ticks the boxes. They've been around for over 20 years and the average tenure in the business is 6+ years. The GM - who this role reports to - is the kind of person who let's you know exactly where you stand, with supportive leadership and autonomy to do what needs to be done in this role. There's probably never two days that are the same but this role will see you:
- leading paid media strategies, focusing on acquisition
- end to end management of performance channels - search, social and display
- working closely with sponsorship and partnership team
- uncover new media partnerships that lead sales across the digital channels
- reporting, forecasting and managing the media budget
Who are you?
You're a digital marketing expert, having gained experience within the agency environment and ideally, been able to translate that client side too. It'll go without saying that you have the technical capabilities to lead the digital marketing channels (SEM, SEO, Google Analytics) but equally important that you bring the commercial understanding to analyse data and identify new business opportunities. People would describe you as:
- a proactive team player who knows their numbers and can drive results
- someone who can jump in and build rapport with others
- a person who manages their time well - think efficient and able to prioritise well
An important thing to consider with this role - I'm not going to sugar coat it here - they are 5 days/week in the office. I know this won't suit everyone but here's some things to consider:
- they do offer flexibility so if you need to be home for a delivery or a handyman, or at a school assembly, that's cool
- being a small, collaborative team you'll be working with everyone in this business. Forget dropping a message or sending an email - you'll just be able to walk over to their desk and ask.
- it's a quiet office that supports deep work (it's ok to don your headphones if you need to focus) and breakout areas (head out to the balcony if you want to enjoy some harbour inspo)
- good work and great results stand out - you're far from being just another number, you're an important part of the team
We're open to your thoughts on salary but as a benchmark we are looking between $100k - $110k + super. I've got a good run down on the bonus structure too and I can ensure you it is really competitive. If you're a results driven marketer (and you'll need to be in the mix here) you'll be well motivated by healthy bonuses.
