You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing airport systems and process expertise to successfully develop and implement improvement initiatives
  • Facilitating workshops with key stakeholder to leverage their expertise to achieve successful and sustainable solutions
  • Planning all aspects of the improvement initiative
  • Developing project and change management documentation to support the duration of the initiative from inception to post implementation review
  • Monitoring project progress against defined milestones and success criteria to satisfy stakeholder requirements
  • Managing improvement initiatives in accordance with the defined project management approach
  • Implementing improvement initiatives in accordance with time, cost and quality requirements
  • Facilitating post implementation reviews to identify and implement continuous improvements
  • Overseeing a portfolio of assets and operational systems relevant to airport operations
  • Coordination and analysis of safety related data and document development.
  • Providing operational oversight, coaching and support as deemed necessary by the business.

To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Airport systems and processes expertise
  • Indepth knowledge and experience in Airline RAMP/Below Wing Operations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding administrative skills with experience with Microsoft office products including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access and outlook
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines and an inherent ability to liaise and maintain relationships effectively at all levels
  • Proven problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Proven ability to develop effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders; and
  • The flexibility of personal & work schedule is
    essential for this role as you may be requested with limited notice to assist when operationally required to travel interstate/international away from your home base. Therefore, you must hold a valid passport for travel and not have any restrictions that may prevent you from entering a state/country, if required to do so. This may include school holidays, public holidays etc.
  • Must hold a valid Australian stateissued car licence
  • No restrictions that would prevent the individual from obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), Airside Drivers Authority (ADA) or any other licences/access required for an airport environment.
  • Tertiary level qualifications (preferred)
  • Project management qualifications (preferred)
