About the Opportunity:


Reporting into the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Manager, this newly created role will be responsible for the contract management of CleanCo's major project procurement activities across multiple locations in Queensland.


Working with the Strategy and Development team, this key role will lead high risk/complexity contract management activities for all major projects (e.g., Wind/solar farms, large scale renewable batteries and infrastructure projects) and will deliver the post award contract management lifecycle in accordance with CleanCo's Contract Management Framework.


To do this, you will develop commercial strategies and contract management plans to ensure efficient and integrated delivery of CleanCo's major projects.

You will also contribute to the development and enhancement of the CleanCo Contract Management Framework in accordance with the QLD Procurement Principles (QPP).


This is a permanent opportunity based in Brisbane that is a mix of working in the office, on site and working from home.

There will be a requirement for semi regular travel to our assets across QLD.

About you:

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have experience in:

  • Managing contracts and providing a commercial and customer focused service across support the delivery of Major Projects in the energy/resources sector.
  • Extensive engineering/construction management knowledge in addition to commercial and contractual acumen, preferably within the energy, heavy industrial or electrical industry.
  • You are a natural collaborator, have high level interpersonal skills and thrive on building relationships that sustain productive relationships and partnerships.
  • Demonstrated experience with the successful negotiation, implementation and ongoing management of complex arrangements and contract agreements.
  • Welldeveloped conceptual, analytical and problemsolving skills; particularly in relation to developing and maintaining contracts and commercial agreements while continuing to assess performance and provide advice to key stakeholders.
  • Strong working knowledge of and the ability to interpret legislation with regards to contract law, compliance to legislation (eg. Modern Slavery Act, QPP), internal policy requirements, enterprise strategy and provide input into management reporting.
  • Tertiary experience includes a bachelor level qualification in business, commerce, or relevant field and a qualification in Contract Management.
